I am a life-long Yakima resident, having graduated from A.C. Davis High School , YVC, CWU, and I am also a proud Gonzaga School of Law Alumni. Since 2002, I’ve had the privilege of serving taxpayers as a Yakima County employee. I am a government civil attorney represent various Yakima County Departments, elected officials and department heads with civil legal advice and government operations. I am also the legal counsel for SE WA Aging and Long-Term Care Council of Governments. I have the honor of serving as the current Yakima County Bar Association President, and I was the FY 23 Washington State Bar Association President serving as the first county government employed attorney in state bar history. I previously served on the WSBA Board of Governors from 2017-2025 setting WSBA organization service records as a muti-term 4thCongressional District Governor, 2-term Treasurer, 2-term Immediate-Past President, and six years as a WSBA Officer.
I graduated from Leadership Yakima in the 2025-26 cohort, and I’m very excited and honored to serve my first year as a member of the LY’s Executive Committee. In my limited spare time outside of work, I enjoy walking, helping others by providing pro bono legal services, watching sports, especially the Seahawks, and Gonzaga Basketball. I’ve been an avid Zags fan the last 27 years and counting. Go Zags!!!
