Amy Johnson is Vice President of Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics at John I. Haas, where she provides strategic leadership across the company’s manufacturing plants, warehouse operations, and logistics network. During her more than 20 years with Haas, Amy has held progressively responsible roles, beginning as a Production Chemist and advancing through positions including Lab Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Plant Manager, and Vice President.
Amy is passionate about developing people, strengthening workplace culture, and using Lean manufacturing principles to improve safety and operational performance. She is an OSHA-authorized Outreach Trainer and a General Industry Safety and Health Specialist.
A longtime supporter of Leadership Yakima, Amy has served on its committee for ten years and values the program’s role in developing leaders and building meaningful connections throughout the Yakima Valley. She especially enjoys helping emerging leaders better understand the industries, organizations, and people that make the Yakima Valley such a strong and unique community. She has also been involved with Rotary, the Master Brewers Association of the Americas, and the American Society of Brewing Chemists.
Amy earned her degree from Western Washington University before returning home to the Yakima Valley to be near family and build her career. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family at their cabin in the mountains.
